Here is an outline of suggestions from Jay to get us started:
I have 4 benchmark signals points to consider. I'm doing fully specified benchmarks (ie all masses and BRs)
1.) The first is a supersymmetric gluino in a fairly standard-ish scenario.
Pair produce gluinos through normal QCD interactions and then have the gluinos decay through the following
1-step cascade decay:
 \tilde{g} \rightarrow \tilde{W} + q bar{q}
 \tilde{W} \rightarrow W + \tilde{B}
where \tilde{W} could be any of the 3 winos and W is the W^\pm or Z^0 with equal branching ratios into all 3.
This gives rise to 4 jets + MET + 2 vector bosons.
The masses I propose are
 m_{\tilde{g}} = 900 \GeV
 m_{\tilde{W}} = 800 \GeV
 m_{\tilde{B}} = 100 \GeV
The 4 jets will be quite soft with pTs around 50
GeV, the vector bosons will be quite hard with pTs of around 300
GeV.
I'd like to study 2 baryonic RPV situations with different color configurations.
2.) Pair produce gluinos and have them be the LSP that decays to 3 quarks or 3 antiquarks.
I propose a
 m_{\tilde{g}} = 300 \GeV
and the sample be produced in 3 different pT bins
 0 \GeV \le pT_\tilde{g}_1 \le 200 \GeV
 200 \GeV \le pT_\tilde{g}_1 \le 400 \GeV
 400 \GeV \le pT_\tilde{g}_1
3.) Pair produce an LSP, \chi^0, through a Z' and then have the LSP decay into 3 quarks or 3 antiquarks
I propose
 m_{Z'} = 1000 \GeV
 m_{\chi^0} = 100 \GeV, 300 \GeV
4.) The final signal region I'd like to consider is a Higgs that is produced in association with a vector boson and
 decays through a cascade decay
 W H \rightarrow W (a0 a0)
 a0 \rightarrow gluon gluon
where a0 is a pseudoscalar that decays into gluons.
I propose the following 4 mass spectra
 m_h= 110 \GeV, 150 \GeV
 m_a =10\GeV, 30 \GeV
We probably want a sample where the pT of the H < m_h and one with pT >m_h \GeV so that we get reasonable
statistics for the boosted sample
I don't think that these are too extensive. I think we only need about 25k events per sample.
- We get a two body tagger in an optimistic, yet realistic environment for susy.
- We get 3 body taggers away from the top, both coming from the continuum and coming from a resonance
with different color structures.
- We get a sample to create 4 body taggers.
